* April 14 Raw *

Kevin made his way out to start the show and saluted the crowd with a fist in the air and some new pyro. Kevin said nine months was a long time to be gone but he was glad to be back, but also not so glad to be back. Kevin said that Triple H and Shawn had been at each others throats during his absence and he just wanted to come back and be around his buddies again but instead he's left wondering what's happened.

Triple H made his entrance and the two embraced. Triple H said it was good to see him and said that last week was just a misunderstanding. He said that it'd never be over between him and HBK, and wouldn't ya know it, out comes Shawn Michaels who immediately gets in Triple H's face. Kevin intervened and Triple H then said that Kev had to make a choice, him or Michaels. Triple H laid it out straight for Kev, saying that if he ran with him, he'd be one step behind because he said he's the man on Raw and he's calling all the shots. Triple H said that if Kevin went with Michaels, then Michaels would do what he's always done and try to steal the spotlight. As Triple H left, he made a good point in saying that his and Kevin's careers both got better when they turned their backs on Shawn Michaels.

After the break, Kevin was shown in the back, thinking about the ultimatum he was met with earlier.

The Hurricane and Booker T defeated Triple H and Ric Flair. Pretty good match which ended when Shawn Michaels came in and turned the tables so Hurricane could get the pin on Ric Flair. After the match, Michaels and Triple H got into it and eventually Chris Jericho came out and held Michaels back as Triple H threatened to hit him with a sledgehammer, until Kevin came out and broke it up. Kevin and Triple H stared each other down and kind of smiled at each other until Kevin took the hammer away and backed Triple H into a corner. Booker T then came up from behind and Kevin ended up clocking him. These guys are supposed to be a team at Backlash, we're reminded by Coach and Lawler. Michaels then gets in the mix and ends up getting punked by Booker T. Coach said it had to have been a mistake but there was dissention in the ranks.
